Fango (River) 40 min
Family-friendly, sunny, temperate water
Head towards Galeria (passing the airport), then after a large bridge with 5 arches, turn left towards the Fango valley (do not go as far as Galeria), 3 km after the bridge turn left towards the Fango at the Ciuccarella restaurant. You can park in the public car park after the "Ponte Vecchio" restaurant to see the first beautiful water holes.
Bonifato Forest (River) 40 mins away
Shady surroundings, very cool water.
Drive past the airport, go straight on for about 25 minutes and you will come to a cul de sac (ONF car park, charge €4). You can choose between several well-marked walks or descend directly into the riverbed. There is also a restaurant and bar with a pleasant terrace.
Le "pain de sucre" seaside trail (jogging)
10km round trip (towards Lumio). Park as close as possible to the beach. Take the small coastal path on the right, crossing the railway line.

The Alga beach (route d'Ajaccio) is 15 minutes away. You can continue as far as the lighthouse and return either along the same coastal path or via the ridges, see the route description at this link:

The hike is in full sunshine, with no shade, but it is possible to swim on the Alga beach and in the many creeks on the way to the lighthouse.
Loop from Occi to Lumio (Hiking)
Family hike 6km, 2h30, 356m ascent
Steep start to the ruins of the abandoned village of Occi. Magnificent panoramic views over the Bay of Calvi after reaching the village of Occi.
Coastal Trail Rando (Footing)
13km. Magnificent, but keep an eye on the signs.
Go through the town of Calvi to take the D81 bis "Ajaccio par le bord de mer" (Ajaccio by the sea), walk 500m out of town and park on the right-hand side of the road just after the Hôtel Revallata (under the Hôtel Le Tramonto). The path is marked in yellow, take the direction away from the town centre.
Calvi beach (Footing) from the residence
(Flat) 8km round trip: leave the residence (between the flags), cross the road and take the small bridge to cross the ditch, then follow the blue signs to the beach. Once on the beach, run along the water's edge as far as the first establishment and, after passing it, take the boardwalk along the beach to the town centre and back.
